Is there a limit on the number of Entries?
Answer - No, you can enter online via www.gorun.ie or entry will be taken on the day.

Question - How much is it to enter?
Answer - Entry online (via www.go run.ie) is 25 Euro while entry on the day also costs 25 euro. However, as it's only the first 200 registered entrants that will receive a goodie bag, everyone is advised to enter online to be sure of getting the commemorative gift. Entering online will also help speed up registration on the day, as all your details will be in our entry system.

Question - What do I get for my entry fee?
Answer - Apart from a high quality race over an AAI-certified 13.1 miles, each entrant to the half marathon will receive:
Question - Where is registration?
Answer - If you're not already entered online and decide to enter the half marathon on the day, registration takes place in the Ferns boxing hall on the morning of the race. The boxing hall is located on the right at the top of Ferns main street, and is approximately 200m from the race start and finish areas.
We will also have an early registration night the evening before (Saturday October 8th), also in Ferns boxing hall, and this will be open from 5pm to 7pm.

Question - What about number pick-up if I've entered online?
Answer - If you've entered online, you'll receive an email in the days leading up to the race with final instructions. Online entries can pick up their number and racepack in Ferns boxing hall on the evening before or on the morning of the race.

Question - Will I get an official time for my race?
Answer - Yes. Everyone who completes the half marathon will get an official time. Full results will also be available after the race, as these will be published online shortly after the race.

Question - . Is it possible to get a refund of the entry fee?
Answer - Unfortunately, no. We cannot refund your fee or defer entry to the following year under any circumstances.

Question - Will water be provided?
Answer - Yes, there will be water stations along the route and there will be a plentiful supply of water at the finish line too.

Question - Will the course be marked in miles or kilometres?
Answer - While we had originally planned to have the course marked in miles only, we have now marked the whole route in both miles and kilometres, so whichever distance-measure you prefer you are catered for.

Question - Will there be pacers?
Answer - Yes there will be pacers and they will be experienced club runners, so look out for the runners with the pace written on their singlets that you would like to follow. The pace groups will be split into four sections, as follows:

- A well-marshalled and fully-marked route, with plentiful supply of water stations.
- A goodie bag.
- A finishers medal
- A large spread of tea, coffee and various home-baked refreshments after the race.
- The chance to be in the list of prizes for the half marathon.
- A comprehensive list of results that will be published online shortly after the race, along with pictures to savour your race-face.
- The chance to re-live the race, as a video of the event will be shown in ''The Thatch'' that afternoon.

- 120 minutes (two hours)
