Question - Is there a limit on the number of Entries?
Answer - No, you can enter online via www.popupraces.ie for €18 (plus transaction fee) or there will be limited entry on the day.

Question - Where is registration?
Answer - Registration takes place in Ferns community centre, which is located on the right-hand-side at the top of Ferns main street, ie - at the roundabout, go straight through and up the hill (the church will be on your left, while ''The Courtyard'' pub and restaurant is on your right) and the community centre is about 300m up the hill from the roundabout. Registration will be open in the community centre from 3pm on raceday and will close at 4-45pm.

Question - Is there parking?
Answer - Yes, there is plenty of parking around Ferns village. The most convenient parking area for race entrants is the car park at the back of the national school, which is situated 300m from the starting line, while refreshts/prizegiving takes place in the function of The Courtyard pub and restaurant directly across the road from the church carpark.

Question - Will I get an official time for my race?
Answer - Yes - the race will be professionally CHIP timed by POPUPRACES, which ensures each runner will get an accurate individual time. Full finisher placings and times will be uploaded to this website (and the facebook page of Sliabh Buidhe Rovers A.C. - search for SBR AC) shortly after the race, and will obviously also be available on www.popupraces.ie.

Question - Will I receive a medal?
Answer - No, there are no finishers medals this year, but the first 200 entrants will receive a specially commissioned bobble hat.

Question - . Is it possible to get a refund of the entry fee?
Answer - Unfortunately, no. We cannot refund your fee or defer entry to the following year under any circumstances.

Question - What do I receive for my entry fee?
Answer - The entry fee is €18 (which can be made via www.popupraces.ie) or €15 on the day entry and will entitle each entrant to the following:
= race number.
= specially commissioned bobble hat to the first 200 entrants.
= professional CHIP timing, which will give you an exact race time, the full results of which will be available shortly after the race.
= full list of results (race position and finishing times), which will be available online after the race.
= ample supply of post-race refreshments.
= wide-range of cash prizes in all categories for men and women.

Question - Will water be provided?
Answer - Yes, there will be a plentiful supply of water at the finish line and it will be in bottles.

Answer - The course will be marked in miles.

Question - Are there toilets/changing facilities?
Answer - Yes, both will be available in Ferns community centre (where registration and number pick-up takes place), while anyone requiring a shower can avail of these facilities in the community centre too.

Question - Will there be refreshments after the race?
Answer - Yes, refreshments and prizegiving will take place in the function room of The Courtyard pub and restaurant. Everyone is welcome to avail of a fine selection of tea, coffee, sandwiches and home baking etc.

Question - Will there be pictures available of the race?
Answer - Yes, pictures will be uploaded to Sliabh Buidhe Rovers facebook page (check SBR AC) and http://www.sbrclub.com/ after the race, so feel free to ''like and share'' the pics or ''tag'' yourself and friends to show their raceday face!
